vilaplana studio is an architecture practice with a special interest in using design to build meaningful links between people and spaces.

Projects develop in different scales -landscape, urban interventions, buildings and installations- and involve multiple formats - architecture, experiences, exhibitions, workshops, writing and edition.

vilaplana studio has worked for and in contribution to clients such as De Beers, MACBA, JJDeluxe, Architects Newspaper and Local Authorities.

Engaged with academia, Amelia is a design studio tutor at the Bartlett and an associate lecturer Oxford  Brookes where she co-leads a research on critical narratives and digital design as tools for architecture.

Amelia Vilaplana is a Spanish registered Architect based in London holding an MA in Narrative Environments by Central Saint Martins and an MA in Theory, Critical Practices and Museum Studies.
